km2. It has an estimated population of 158,000. The
City is placed within 80km of Sydney and Newcastle and is only one
hour by road or rail from both major urban centres.
With neighbouring Wyong Shire, the City Of Gosford forms
the region known as the Central Coast. The outstanding natural beauty
of the district and close proximity to Sydney and Newcastle has made
the City Of Gosford one of the most attractive living and
recreational areas on the east coast of Australia.
